It has been a privilege representing you in the Minnesota House of Representatives this year. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you in my fourth term in St. Paul.
For the first time in two decades, Democrats are in full control of state government, and this year’s legislation reflects that. I was able to find common ground with my colleagues on issues for veterans, public safety, and some education policies, but significant changes also moved forward without my support. Higher taxes, fewer health care choices, new energy mandates and bigger government were the main outcomes of the 2013 legislative session.
Please keep in touch and thank you again for the chance to work on your behalf.
